Whether you are searching for Truth, looking for a congregation to visit in
your travels to South Alabama or randomly perusing the internet, we're glad you're here.
The Bellingrath Road church
of Christ is a congregation of Christians, one of many
"churches of Christ" (Romans 16:16) around the world. We are a self-governing body of
believers, just as the churches of the New Testament were (cf. Titus 1:5;
Philippians 1:1); therefore, we are not a denomination. We believe the Bible
is our
all-sufficient guide to "life and godliness" (2 Peter 1:3), so we do not
publish creed books, catechisms or manuals.
There is great power in the
gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16). There is no substitute for the gospel as the means of saving sinners.
For this reason, we hope you will find that our effort is to do all
according to what the Bible teaches, whether in word and deed, in daily
living and public worship (Colossians 3:17; Galatians 1:8,9).

well as many new articles and sermon outlines/Powerpoints. While we are

*Every Lord's Day, we enjoy a lunch prepared by the ladies of the
congregation, then return to worship God in a weekly 1 PM worship service.
Stay with us after AM worship and allow us to get to know you.

Friends
and Family Day
2010
Friends
and Family Day 2010 is coming up! It will be April 25. If you are
a former member, have visited us before, are a neighbor of ours from the
community, or are family to or a friend of one of the Christians at
Bellingrath Road, we would love to see you with us.
Visit our Gospel
Meeting
Friends and Family Day will again kick off our Gospel Meeting. The meeting
will have daily services the week of April 25. Last year, we had terrific
attendance, as many assembled to hear God's Word soundly taught. More info
